Text message opt-in
Last updated 24 September 2026
This page shows how YYJ Strata Care Ltd., registered in British Columbia as YYJ Stratacare Ltd. (incorporation no. 1485817), collects consent for text messages, so it can be checked without an account or a unit in one of our buildings.
Where the opt-in happens
Each building we caretake has a public page at yyjstratacare.com/b, and on it a Building notifications sign-up. A resident enters their name, unit, and their own email address or mobile number, then chooses how to be reached. The text-message box is never ticked for you, it is not bundled with any other agreement, and consent is not a condition of any service. We never add a number from a purchased or third-party list.
A resident who has signed in can open the same sign-up again and change the choice; the box shows what they chose last time. Every grant and withdrawal, whether made on the form or by replying to a message, is logged with the time, the number and where it came from.
What the resident sees
How should we reach you?
A few messages a month about your building, more during an outage or a move. Message and data rates may apply. See the text message terms.
The programme and its messages
